Volleyball Recap: Kendrick Starts off Right with Win over Central

Kendrick gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Central Hawks by a score of 2-0. The Cherokees have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hawks, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Kendrick was: they took both sets by at least 19 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-6.

Central is on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Kendrick wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Spencer on the 12th. As for Central, they will head out to face off against Taylor County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
