Basketball Recap: Santee Comes Up Short at Home Against Banning

Santee unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by the Banning Pilots and fell 75-46. The Falcons have struggled against the Pilots recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Santee's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew Serano, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Justin Chavez, who had 11 points.

Looking ahead, Santee will head out on the road to challenge Mendez at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Banning, they will be taking part in a tournament against Animo Robinson at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
