Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask James C Isabell). Everything went their way against the Brevig Mission Huskies on Friday as the James C Isabell Aklaqs made off with an 89-66 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-24.

James C Isabell had a senior duo take command as Ian Weyanna posted 43 points and Brian Topkok earned 27 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Weyanna has scored at least a third of James C Isabell's points. Matt Thomas was another key player, putting up eight points.

The victory got James C Isabell back to even at 2-2. As for Brevig Mission, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Aniguiin the next time they take the court. James C Isabell will head out to face Aniguiin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Brevig Mission will host them on February 21st.
