Unaka is 4-0 against Washburn since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Unaka Rangers will square off against the Washburn Pirates at 8:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Unaka didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victor by a 60-40 margin over Twin Springs on Tuesday. The Rangers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Washburn strolled past Thomas Walker with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 53-37.

Washburn's win came from a few key players Unaka will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Landry Coffey, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 16 points along with five boards and five steals. Those five steals gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Harville, who posted 14 points in addition to five boards and four steals.

The win made it two in a row for Unaka and bumps their season record up to 5-1. As for Washburn, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything came up roses for Unaka against Washburn in their previous meeting back in February, as the team secured a 78-48 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Harville, who went 13 of 25 on his way to 33 points and five rebounds.
