Soccer Recap: Northwest Cabarrus Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Northwest Cabarrus and West Rowan pushed the score to 6-3 the last time they played West Rowan, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Trojans' defense stepped up to hand the Falcons a 2-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-3 back in September.

Northwest Cabarrus' win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-12-2. As for West Rowan, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-15-1.
