Basketball Game Preview: Gilbert Indians vs. Aiken Fighting Green Hornets

Gilbert is 0-4 against Aiken since January of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Gilbert Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets at 6:30 p.m.

Gilbert is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Monday. They fell 40-27 to Ben Lippen.

Meanwhile, Aiken beat Airport 37-30 on Friday.

Aiken's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Gilbert, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Gilbert was dealt a bruising 67-26 loss at the hands of Aiken in their previous meeting back in February of 2016. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Gilbert was down 30-9.
