Softball Game Preview: Bethel Bruins vs. Kecoughtan Warriors

For the second straight game, Bethel will face off against Kecoughtan. The Bruins will be playing at home against the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Bethel 3.5, Kecoughtan 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Bethel had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Kecoughtan put an end to it on Tuesday. The Bruins came up short against the Warriors, falling 6-0. The loss was the Bruins' first of the season.

The win was the third in a row for Kecoughtan, bringing their record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Bethel, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
