Football Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

Highland lost against Baird back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hornets were outmatched by the Bears and fell 67-32.

Baird was led to victory by Kendell Miller and Tyson Goodwin. Miller gained 86 total yards and three touchdowns, while Goodwin threw for 123 yards and three touchdowns.

Highland now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Baird, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Highland will head out on the road to challenge Holy Cross at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Baird, they will welcome Veribest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
