Basketball Game Preview: Castlewood Warriors vs. Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones

The Castlewood Warriors will face off against the Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Saturday, everything went Castlewood's way against Deuel as Castlewood made off with a 48-22 victory.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Clark/Willow Lake, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 53-27 margin over Webster on Saturday. While the Cyclones didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Clark/Willow Lake is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for Castlewood, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Castlewood came up short against Clark/Willow Lake in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 47-43. Can Castlewood avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
