Baseball Recap: Centaurus Warriors vs. Frederick Golden Eagles

Centaurus lost to Frederick back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors fell 9-6 to the Golden Eagles. The Warriors' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Dylan Glenn and Jack Brutsch put in work no matter where they played. Throwing, Glenn tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Brutsch tossed 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Furthermore, Glenn didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2025. At the plate, Glenn went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run, while Brutsch got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

In other batting news, Ari Schoenwald-Reed was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Parana, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.
