            Baseball Recap: Santa Teresa Saints vs. Harbor Pirates        
        
		
        
        
            Santa Teresa and Harbor squared off in some playoff action  on Saturday, but Santa Teresa had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of  7-6. The Saints just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.
 Kaden Kott was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  pitched 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   four  hits.
 At the plate, Santa Teresa saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jordan Hsieh, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run.  Joshua Gilbreath also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
Santa Teresa's loss dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Harbor,  with the  win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 16-12.
As of now, neither Santa Teresa nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
