Meanwhile, Covenant Classical entered their tilt with Christian Life Preparatory on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They strolled past the Knights with points to spare, taking the game 57-43.

Covenant Classical's win came from a few key players Abilene Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ellis Mitchell, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Howard Wade, who earned 12 points.

Covenant Classical is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Abilene Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 20-7.
