Wichita County piles up the points against Rawlins County

Recap: Wichita County Indians vs. Rawlins County Buffaloes

The Wichita County Indians had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Rawlins County 66-34 on the road. The win was just business as usual for Wichita County, who after 11 games remain undefeated this season.

Wichita County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Khris Hermosillo, who rushed for 269 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. Hermosillo was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 54 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Gardner, who rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.

Despite the loss, Rawlins County still got an impressive performance from Ryan Sramek, who rushed for 209 yards and four touchdowns. Sramek hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for ten straight games.

Wichita County's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Rawlins County, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-2.

Wichita County is on the road again on Friday and play against Ell-Saline at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Ell-Saline is coming into the game hot, having won their last ten games. Rawlins County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
