Basketball Recap: Arrowhead Christian Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Anna Bright and Kyra Beilke

While it was all tied up 9-9 at halftime, Arrowhead Christian Academy was not quite Paradise Valley Christian Prep's equal in the second half on Thursday. They took a 32-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paradise Valley Christian Prep Panthers. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Arrowhead Christian Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kyra Beilke, who posted four points along with five rebounds and five steals, and Anna Bright, who put up nine points and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Beilke a new career-high in steals.

Even though they lost, Arrowhead Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive matches.
