The Bryan Station Defenders got the win against the Pulaski County Maroons on Thursday by a conclusive 7-1. Considering the Defenders have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Bryan Station is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Pulaski County, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-20-2.
