Diman RVT has gone 9-1 against Tri-County RVT recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Bengals will host the Cougars at 3:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Monday.
Diman RVT's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Blue Hills RVT as they made off with a 9-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bengals, who have now won four contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Owen Dorego made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.
In other batting news, Diman RVT let Carter Perreira and Cam Falcon run wild. Perreira went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple, while Falcon went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Matt Almeida was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Tri-County RVT hadn't done well against Southeastern RVT recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Cougars put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 8-1 victory. With that win, the Cougars brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Cam Cummings was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Roche, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.
Tri-County RVT is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Diman RVT, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-4.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Diman RVT has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Tri-County RVT struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.4 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Diman RVT skirted past Tri-County RVT 2-0 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Do the Bengals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
