Basketball Recap: Northern Burlington Takes a Loss

If Northern Burlington was riding high fresh off their 60-37 takedown of Lindenwold last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Northern Burlington Greyhounds came up short against the Holy Cross Lancers on Thursday, falling 62-38. The Greyhounds have struggled against the Lancers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Northern Burlington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Northern Burlington and Pennsauken will face off at 1:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Holy Cross, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Burlington Township at 6:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
