Santa Teresa was handed a four-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Artesia Bulldogs. Analeigh Gonzalez was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Santa Teresa's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Artesia, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 8-3 record.

Looking ahead, Santa Teresa will welcome Hatch Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Artesia, they will head out to take on Carlsbad at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
