After only two runs in their last game, Kearney Catholic made sure to put some runs up on the board against Lexington on Thursday. The Kearney Catholic Stars blew past the Lexington Minutemen 16-1. The Stars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by seven runs or more this season.

Claire Damratowski made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in strikeouts. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Raegan Ruyle was incredible, going 4-for-4 with a home run, six RBI, and six RBI. What's more, she also racked up four hits, the mostshe's had in her last 12 matchups. Another player making a difference was Kynlee Ruyle, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4.
