Volleyball Recap: Sparks Takes a Loss

Sparks extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 21 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They came up short against the North Valleys Panthers, falling 3-0. If the Railroaders were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Panthers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North Valleys' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. They not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 23, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

North Valleys got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Caylee Soap out in front who had nine digs and five aces.

Sparks didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Lowry on the 28th. As for North Valleys, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Douglas on the 26th.
