Post Falls won the last time they faced Sandpoint and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans walked away with a 12-8 victory over the Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Rylan Morrison spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and four unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, McKenna Zimmerman was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Kulani Peahu-Michael, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs, one double, and one RBI.

Post Falls hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Post Falls' win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Sandpoint, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Post Falls beat the Bulldogs by a score of 12-2 later that day.
