Canon-McMillan entered their tilt with Woodland Hills on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Wolverines an 11-0 shutout. That looming 11-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Big Macs yet this season.

Not much got past Sebastian Shulsky, who gave up just a hit and racked up 11 Ks to keep Woodland Hills off the board. Shulsky has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Troy Stimpson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Massimo Falconi was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Canon-McMillan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Woodland Hills only posted a batting average of .067.

Canon-McMillan pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Woodland Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Canon-McMillan will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wolverines: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
