Baseball Recap: Gonzaga Prep Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

Gonzaga Prep won the last time they faced Shadle Park and things went their way on Thursday too. Gonzaga Prep blew past Shadle Park 11-1. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Bullpups this season.

On the hitting side, Anthony Karis was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Briggs Beaudoin was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Gonzaga Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Gonzaga Prep pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Shadle Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
