Softball Recap: Sidney Comes Up Short

Sidney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Waverly Wolverines, falling 21-9.

Sidney's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Waverly, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Sidney does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Waverly, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-3 win against Owego Free Academy on the 12th.
