            The Temecula Valley Golden Bears will challenge the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks at 3:15  p.m.  on Monday.
Temecula Valley managed to slip by Great Oak the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Golden Bears came up short against  the Wolfpack on Friday, falling  13-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  defeat the Golden Bears have suffered  against the Wolfpack since March 3, 2023.
 Temecula Valley saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Stone Tucker, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs.
Murrieta Valley's found some homefield redemption this week after a  overtime loss to Chaparral on Friday. The Nighthawks walked away with  a   6-1  win over the Pumas. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Murrieta Valley also got a great performance from  Grant Johnson as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit over five innings pitched.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Brady Norman, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run. Those  three  hits gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Diesel Douglas, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Murrieta Valley's victory bumped their record up to 7-17. As for Temecula Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.
