Football Recap: Kosciusko Whippets vs. Greenwood Bulldogs
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Louisville, Kosciusko was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Greenwood Bulldogs out 30-28. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Whippets also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.
Caiden Wade was his usual excellent self, rushing for 68 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 166 yards and a touchdown.
Despite the loss, Greenwood still got an impressive performance from Juwaun Gideon, who rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries. Greenwood also got help from Michael Steele, who showed off his sure hands for 90 receiving yards.
Kosciusko now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Greenwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-3.
