Volleyball Recap: Stacey Comes Up Short

Stacey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Three Rivers Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Stacey was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-23, 25-17.

Jordan Davis paced Stacey's offense, picking up ten kills. Davis got some help from Leah Jones and her 14 assists.

Stacey's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Three Rivers, their victory bumped their record up to 3-10.

Stacey has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Center Point on the 12th. As for Three Rivers, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Ingleside on the 12th.
