Forestview (Gastonia, N.C.) snapped the five-game winning streak of Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, N.C.), with a 63-7 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown catch by
Logan Bradley in the first quarter, the Jaguars were up 36-7 at the half.
Forestview grew its lead to 50 points entering the fourth quarter. FHS scored four times in the third, including once on a
Montavis Rogers touchdown run.
The Jaguars raced to 29 in the first quarter alone and kept up the pace for the win.
Bradley played well for the Jaguars in the victory. The senior quarterback threw two touchdowns. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.
Lake Norman Charter's only touchdown came on a 3-yard pass from Michael Dorsainvil to Petey Fabian in the second quarter.
Lake Norman Charter came in surrendering 8.8 points per game this season. LNC struggled against Forestview's offense, which entered the game scoring 44.0 points per game.
The loss comes after Lake Norman Charter defeated Village Christian Academy 43-0 last week. With the win FHS extended its winning streak to four games.
