Basketball Recap: East Bay Takes a Loss

East Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 71-52 to the Upperman Bees. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 327th in Florida, while the Bees are ranked 14th in Tennessee).

When it comes to explaining why East Bay lost, don't look at Kyree Williams. Despite the final result, he posted 12 points in addition to six assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Nicholas Ghent, who had nine points.

East Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Upperman, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

East Bay didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-18 win against Woodward on the 21st. As for Upperman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 53-46 victory against St. Cloud on the 21st.
