Softball Recap: Marshall Cardinals vs. Columbus Cardinals
While Marshall's victory against Columbus wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Marshall sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over Columbus on Friday. Marshall hasn't had any issues with Columbus recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Kennedy Weisensel made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and not a single walk).
