Football Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Liberty Christian + How To Watch

Liberty Christian entered their tilt with Prestonwood Christian on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They strolled past the Lions with points to spare, taking the game 38-24. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Liberty Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Quinn Murphy led the charge by throwing for 339 yards and four touchdowns. Those 339 passing yards gave Murphy a new career-high. Another back making a difference was Correll Buckhalter, who gained 104 total yards and three touchdowns.

Liberty Christian didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Prestonwood Christian to a completion percentage of just 45.5%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from two players: Cooper Witten and Lukas Bryant, who each logged two passes deflected. Liberty Christian wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 61.4%.

Liberty Christian's defense didn't let Luke Glass, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Witten, Ndi Etta, and Cade Violi, who each picked up one sack apiece. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 58 yards. Glass was another key player, having thrown for 272 yards and onetouchdown.
