The Boston Collegiate Hurricanes came up short against the Minuteman Regional Minuteman on Friday and fell 3-1. The loss put an end to the Hurricanes' undefeated start to the season.

While Boston Collegiate ultimately came up short, they really made Minuteman Regional work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 22-25, 27-25, 25-20.

Having lost for the first time this season, Boston Collegiate fell to 3-1. As for Minuteman Regional, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.
