While La Quinta's victory against Estancia wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. La Quinta had just enough and edged out Estancia 13-12. The win continues a trend for the Aztecs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won seven in a row.

Ella Magga was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she's now brought in three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Savannah Halowell was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-5.
