It was a good run, but Brother Martin unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Newman Greenies, falling 4-0. Considering the last time the Crusaders couldn't score was back in December of 2024, the team can't take the result too hard.

Brother Martin's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-4-4. As for Newman, the win keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brother Martin will venture away from home to take on Destrehan at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Newman, they will head out to face off against Willow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Willow is on a four-game streak of home wins, Newman a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch.
