Volleyball Recap: Pocatello Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pocatello was the 3-2 winner over Century when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Thunder fell just short of the Diamondbacks by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. While the Thunder didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Diamondbacks 25-11 in the first set.

Pocatello started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 11-25, 18-25, 25-14, 25-17, 18-16.

Abby Lusk paced Pocatello's offense, picking up 20 kills. Lusk got some help from Josie Haymore and her 40 assists.

Pocatello has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-15 record this season. As for Century, the victory snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 10-12 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pocatello beat the Diamondbacks by a score of 3-0 on Wednesday.
