Softball Recap: Central Lafourche Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Central Lafourche fell victim to Hahnville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 14-0 to the Hahnville Tigers. The Trojans were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Central Lafourche's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Hahnville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-3.

Coming up, Central Lafourche will be playing in front of their home fans against Thibodaux at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hahnville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Hahnville Tigers face off against Destrehan Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. They will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
