Basketball Game Preview: Kennedy Crusaders vs. Lindblom Eagles

Kennedy hasn't had much luck against Lindblom recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Kennedy Crusaders will square off against the Lindblom Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Kennedy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52 points per game this season.

Kennedy lost 73-53 to Mather on Friday. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Joseph Dahl, who posted 17 points and six rebounds. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Kylen Henderson was another key player, putting up 12 points and six boards.

Meanwhile, Lindblom fought the good fight in their overtime game against Perspectives Leadership/Technology on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Warriors 66-61. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Lindblom's loss dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-19.

Kennedy was dealt a bruising 79-39 loss at the hands of Lindblom in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Kennedy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
