The Delta Rabbits will be taking part in a tournament against the Enterprise Wolves at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Delta lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Milford, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. Delta's pitcher stepped up to hand Milford an 8-0 shutout on Friday. While the Rabbits didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Delta got a great performance from Hunt Roninson as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over six innings pitched. Roninson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

03/26/24 @ Emery | 2 |

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ty Stefanoff, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one triple. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Kyler Davies also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Meanwhile, Enterprise came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over the Templars.
Clayton Bowler was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyler Randall, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Enterprise was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .385 or higher in four consecutive games.
Delta's record is now 5-1. As for Enterprise, their record is now 8-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal. Delta has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Enterprise struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Delta couldn't quite finish off Enterprise in their previous matchup back in March of 2018 and fell 9-7. Can Delta avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
