Softball Recap: Nyack Red Hawks vs. Suffern Mounties

Nyack put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over the Suffern Mounties. With that win, Nyack brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Gianna Longo made a splash while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Longo has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive pitching appearances.
