Rio Americano had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Inderkum Tigers by a score of 3-1.

Rio Americano had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-18, 25-16, 25-20.

Rio Americano was led to victory by Adam Wixom and Finn Gardner. Wixom had 23 assists, while Gardner had 19 assists. Those 19 assists gave Gardner a new career-high.

The win got Rio Americano back to even at 6-6. As for Inderkum, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Rio Americano wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Del Oro on the 20th. Inderkum has also already played their next game (against Ponderosa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
