Basketball Recap: Trico Takes a Loss

Trico was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 44-32 to the Johnston City Indians. The Pioneers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 48-42.

Trico's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Johnston City, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8.

Trico won't have much time to rest: their next game is against DuQuoin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Johnston City, they will square off against Eldorado at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
