Recap: Pittsfield Generals vs. Wahconah Regional Warriors

Even though the Pittsfield Generals have not done well against the Wahconah Regional Warriors recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Pittsfield strolled past Wahconah Regional with points to spare, taking the game 72-54. Winning may never get old, but Pittsfield sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Da'Sean Brown was his usual excellent self, scoring 31 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Malachi Perry, who scored 18 points.

Pittsfield is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Wahconah Regional, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-6.

Pittsfield will head out on the road to take on West Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pittsfield knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six games -- so hopefully West Springfield likes a good challenge. As for Wahconah Regional, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hoosac Valley at 7:00 p.m. Wahconah Regional will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings (they are ranked 139th, while Hoosac Valley is ranked 42nd).
