Platte Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost to the Wray Eagles on the road by a 71-55 margin. Even though they lost, the Broncos' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Several Broncos players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Regan Edstrom, who on his way to 26 points and three steals. What's more, Edstrom also posted a 63% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2024. Rocco Minner was another key player, putting up ten points and seven rebounds.
