It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Immaculata-La Salle had no problem doing just that on Monday. They never let the Booker T. Washington Tornadoes get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The Royal Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six runs or more this season.

Jason Amor was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Hector Sosa, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two runs.

Immaculata-La Salle pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Booker T. Washington, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Immaculata-La Salle will challenge JC Bermudez Doral at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Booker T. Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
