Leading Melbourne to victory were Haley Ostrander and Kinsey Hurd. Ostrander had 19 digs and five aces, while Hurd had 22 digs. Ostrander is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
Satellite has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. As for Melbourne, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Satellite will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Merritt Island at 7:15 p.m. As for Melbourne, they will head out to take on Cocoa Beach at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
