Baseball Game Preview: Warwick Warriors vs. Conestoga Valley Buckskins

Warwick is a perfect 8-0 against Conestoga Valley since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Warriors will challenge the Buckskins at 4:15 p.m. Warwick has given up an average of 6.9 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Warwick is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They came up short against Garden Spot, falling 12-4.

Meanwhile, Conestoga Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Eastern Lebanon County on Friday and fell 9-8.

Warwick's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Conestoga Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7-1 record this season.

Warwick skirted past Conestoga Valley 6-5 in their previous meeting on April 9th. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
