Orange County waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Goochland Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Give Orange County's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Kayla Ash and Taylor Mills scored both of Orange County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

Orange County pushed their record up to 11-3-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five contests. As for Goochland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Orange County will venture away from home to square off against Monticello at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Goochland, they will host Fluvanna County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Goochland will be up against Fluvanna County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.57 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
