Columbia Central came tearing into  Friday's  game with six straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Northwest Mounties by a score of  50-43. Given the Golden Eagles' advantage  in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings  (they are ranked 172nd, while the Mounties are ranked 432nd), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
