Baseball Recap: Union Mine Find Success

On Thursday, the Union Mine Diamondbacks beat the Cordova Lancers 5-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Diamondbacks.

Andrew Schurmann spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up 13 Ks. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts.
