Summit proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Oregon City Pioneers 4-3. Winning may never get old, but the Storm sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Summit's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Oregon City, they moved to 6-4 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Summit will face off against Ridgeview at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Storm their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Oregon City, they will take on West Linn at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Pioneers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
